Guttering
Direct Cladding Supplies stocks a wide range of uPVC guttering for your building projects. uPVC gutters are lightweight, durable, and resistant to rot and corrosion, making them ideal for long-term performance with minimal maintenance. We stock a wide range of guttering including half-round, square, both standard and deep flow all available in standard black, white or brown colours along with all the angles, brackets, clips and shoes.
Underground Drainage
We carry a wide range of underground uPVC drainage solutions in stock, ready for collection or delivery. Our standard 110mm drainage supplies include the fittings, bends, chambers, risers, covers and frames. Being uPVC, these units won’t rot, corrode, or warp, which lowers the likelihood of callbacks or maintenance-related concerns post-installation.
Gutter Maintenance
Although low-maintenance, uPVC gutters still benefit from periodic check with cleaning out leaves and debris at least twice a year to avoid blockages. Also it's always worth checking for leaks at joints — most leaks are caused by loose fittings or aged rubber seals and sometimes after storms there may of been some gutter movement or brackets that may have come loose.
Installation Tips
When installing guttering ensure that you plan the layout correctly first, measuring the roof edge and decide downpipe placement, ensuring a slight slope for water flow. Fix starter and end brackets, then mark and install intermediate brackets using a string line, making sure that you lubricate the seals, clip in sections, join with union brackets, and cap with stop ends.
